Sonny's BBQ offers a variety of barbeque meats, including St. Louis Cut Ribs and Sonny's Signature Baby Backs, Pulled Beef Brisket, Pulled and Sliced Pork, Sliced Turkey, and Chicken, all smoked slowly over a hardwood fire.
Established in 1968
Floyd "Sonny" Tillman and his wife, Lucille, founded Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q in Gainesville, Florida. The year was 1968. Their goal was to create a casual restaurant offering the very best authentic southern barbeque. Of course great food wasn't the only reason folks stopped by. Customers could always count on fast, friendly service every time they visited. Today, the original Sonny's location remains in tact and open for business and Sonny's is the biggest name in barbeque, operating in nine states. Success is great. But after 45 years, it's still about "Feel Good BBQ".
